Motorola Announces Design Oriented Moto X Pure Collection

Motorola has just revealed some new special edition smartphones that have been made in collaboration with New York based designer Jonathan Adler. The new Moto X Pure Collection offers consumers the recently launched Moto X Pure Edition with some new designs that will never be available through Motorola’s own Moto Maker pre-purchase customization suite. That makes these handsets unique, although we hardly see the design merit personally, but then that’s why we run a mobile oriented website and not a fashion one we guess. At the very least these will appeal to those wanting something that is individual, even alongside the already very customizable Moto X Pure Edition. Fortsätt läs..

Nokia har tillkännagivit ett nytt designspråk kallat Pure UI som ska användas på webben och i företagets olika produkter. Designspråket har presenterats av själva Nokia, inte av HMD Global som använder Nokia-varumärket för smartphones, men det kommer eventuellt även användas i de Nokia-märkta mobilerna. Pure UI är tänkt att vara framtidssäkert, flexibelt och sammanhängande och erbjuda en ren och minimalistisk layout.

Google Drive och Docs får uppdaterad design

Med senaste Material Design Under de kommande veckorna ska Google Drive, Docs, Sheets och Slides få en uppdaterad design på webben, med Material Design 3. Nya designen av Google Docs, Sheets och Slides ska innehålla förbättringar som gör det enklare att hitta ofta använda verktyg snabbare, funktioner som kommentarer, bakgrund, linjaler och rutnät ska också fungera bättre. I Drive hittar vi förbättringar som möjligheten att välja flera objekt åt gången och utföra batch-redigering av frekventa uppgifter och nya sökfilter som ska hjälpa dig att hitta filer snabbare.

Telefonen förväntas vara en internationell version av Moto X40 som lanserades redan i december förra året. Om Edge 40 Pro erbjuder samma hårdvara som X40 har mobilen en 6,7-tums OLED-skärm (165Hz), systemkretsen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, samt upp till 12GB RAM och 512GB UFS 4.

Vi har hittills mest bara sett foldables på smartphonemarknaden men ett nytt användningsområde för den flexibla skärmtekniken, rollables, ser ut att vara på gång. Motorola har exempelvis visat upp en konceptmobil med rullbar skärm under Mobile World Congress. Grundtanken är samma som för foldables: att kunna tillhandahålla flera olika skärmstorlekar i telefoner.

Nästa Motorola Razr ser ut att få gigantisk yttre skärm

Täcker hela locket Så här kommer utsidan av nästa Motorola Razr att se ut, enligt Evan Blass (Evleaks). För att få skärmen att täcka hela "locket" av enheten ser det ut som att Motorola har hela tre olika hål i skärmen, för att få plats med dubbla kameror och LED-lampa. Det är inte helt omöjligt att du kommer kunna öppna fullständiga appar från hemskärmen.

Oppo Find N2 Flip erbjuder i dagsläget den största yttre panelen i en foldable med samma formfaktor som en klassisk viktelefon. Samsung förväntas dessutom implementera en betydligt större utvändig skärm i Galaxy Flip 5. Av bilder Evan Blass har publicerat på sitt Twitter-konto att döma har även Motorola ansett att en större yttre panel vore en bra uppgradering.

Erbjudandet försvinner 9 maj Sony meddelade igår att deras erbjudande PlayStation Plus Collection kommer att försvinna för PlayStation Plus-abonnenter 9 maj. PlayStation Plus Collection består av 19 klassiska PlayStation 4-spel som gått att ladda ner gratis. Bland spelen finns bland annat Bloodborne, God of War, The Last of Us Remastered, Batman: Arkham Knight, Fallout 4 och Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

Den digitala revolutionen påverkar många aspekter

När vi pratar om den tekniska revolutionen som stort så är vi snabba med att ta upp vad den gjort för att förenkla människornas vardagsliv. Vi har nu maskiner som gör småsaker för oss som att göra kaffe ur en kapsel, dosera rätt mängd av tvättmedel beroende på hur mycket tvätt vi lägger i tvättmaskinen och vi har även en automatisk dammsugare och gräsklippare. Vad många dock inte lägger en tanke på är hur den digitala revolutionen gynnat spelmarknaden så mycket så nu förtiden blir vi nästan trötta på att se alla reklamer för onlinekasinon som går varma dagarna i ända.

The HTC 10 is a very appealing smartphone, and it is now available in unlocked form in the United States, with the company saying it will arrive next week. The handset will ship during the week and it is excellent news for customers of AT&T. While Verizon and Sprint have confirmed the HTC 10, the second largest carrier in the country said it will not be carrying the smartphone.

LG G5 Launching in Canada, Landing April 8

LG has been quiet regarding the specific launch date of the G5 flagship, the modular designed smartphone that wowed us at the Mobile World Conference back in February. However, the company has now moved away from an “early April” timeframe and has said the G5 will makes its debut on April 8 in Canada. Microsoft has always struggled to become a major player in the mobile hardware market, and it seems no matter what the company does changing the situation may be impossible. Let’s look at the last quarter, which was the fourth of 2015, including the Christmas period, and was the first in which the company’s new Windows 10 Mobile platform and related handsets were launched. That seems like a recipe that could lead to some breakout success, after-all more consumers splash the cash during the holidays and Windows 10 Mobile is excellent, while the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagship are pretty spiffing too.

It looks like the company is conjuring another all-out masterpiece spliced with high end design and leading specs, the Galaxy S7 may also be at the higher limits of battery life expectations amongst its rivals. Eldar Murtazin, a solid source who typically nails rumors accurately, suggests that the Galaxy S7 will be offering 17 hours of video playback, or at least that is the number Samsung will be touting when it outs the S7.
