LG’s Smart Notice is a nice idea that for the most part is badly executed because it never quite works how it should. LG has stuck with it though and the widget has been available on all the company’s smartphones over recent years. However, it seems at some point the frustrating software was actually flat out dangerous. The widget was lacking a feature that checked security when passing new contact information to a LG G3, the company’s 2014 flagship. Fortsätt läs..

Smart #1 i älgtestet

Vipp på rumpan-affär Älgtestar-kanalen KM.77 har nu slängt elbilen Smart #1 i Brabus-kostym runt konerna för att se hur den presterar i undanmanöverprov. Den relativt lilla bilen bjuder på hela 428 hästar från två elmotorer och 0-100 km/h avklaras på bara 3,7 sekunder.

Xiaomis aktivitetsarmband har blivit populära tack vare bra batteritid och ett relativt lågt pris. Senaste enheten i Smart Band-serien, Smart Band 7, lanserades i maj förra året och fick ett initialt svenskt pris på 599 kronor. Uppföljaren Smart Band 8 har nu enligt utsago certifierats i Sydkorea och kommer sannolikt att introduceras under försommaren.

LG släpper en smart 4K-monitor

Med webOS och AirPlay 2 LG visade tidigare i år skärmen med det fantastiska namnet LG StanbyME, som var en smart monitor. Nu utökar man sitt sortiment med en skärm med högra upplösning, nämligen den 32 tum stora LG Smart Monitor 32SQ780S. Skärmen kör LG:s WebOS och har även stöd för Apples AirPlay 2 för strömming av innehåll.

Nya Smart #1 spanad utanför Göteborg

Inte så pluttig längre En Feber-läsare körde lite bil i Göteborg i dag och fick syn på nya Smart #1 som var ute och körde. Det handlar alltså nya Smart som köptes av Geely för ett tag sedan. Bilen bygger på Geely-plattformen SEA och den härstammar på sätt och vis till Göteborg, så inte konstigt att bilen hänger runt där.

Eufy presenterar två-i-en videoringklocka och smart lås

Förvirra dina gäster Ankers smarta hem-märke Eufy har precis visat upp en ganska intressant produkt som kombinerar en videoringklocka och smart lås i samma enhet. Eufy Security Video Smart Lock heter produkten och finns nu ute på Kickstarter för 399 dollar för de som känner sig sugna på att förvirra sina gäster med en dörrklocka där nyckelhålet vanligtvis sitter. Leveranser ska starta i maj.

Dungeons & Dragons kan bli tv-serie

Red Notice-regissör ska spela in ett pilotavsnitt Nu kommer det lite nya uppgifter om en eventuell framtida tv-serie baseras på rollspelet Dungeons & Dragons. Deadline skriver att Rawson Marshall Thurber, regissören till Netflix-filmen Red Notice, kommer att spela in ett pilotavsnitt baserat på D&D-universumet. Beroende på hur stort intresse tv-kanaler, streamingtjänster eller andra visar för det kanske det kan resultera i en eller flera framtida tv-serier.

När vi pratar om den tekniska revolutionen som stort så är vi snabba med att ta upp vad den gjort för att förenkla människornas vardagsliv. Vi har nu maskiner som gör småsaker för oss som att göra kaffe ur en kapsel, dosera rätt mängd av tvättmedel beroende på hur mycket tvätt vi lägger i tvättmaskinen och vi har även en automatisk dammsugare och gräsklippare. Vad många dock inte lägger en tanke på är hur den digitala revolutionen gynnat spelmarknaden så mycket så nu förtiden blir vi nästan trötta på att se alla reklamer för onlinekasinon som går varma dagarna i ända.

The HTC 10 is a very appealing smartphone, and it is now available in unlocked form in the United States, with the company saying it will arrive next week. The handset will ship during the week and it is excellent news for customers of AT&T. While Verizon and Sprint have confirmed the HTC 10, the second largest carrier in the country said it will not be carrying the smartphone.

We have yet to get the 100% official confirmation on anything regarding the Samsung Galaxy S7, yet we still know everything about the upcoming flagship. Microsoft has always struggled to become a major player in the mobile hardware market, and it seems no matter what the company does changing the situation may be impossible. Let’s look at the last quarter, which was the fourth of 2015, including the Christmas period, and was the first in which the company’s new Windows 10 Mobile platform and related handsets were launched. That seems like a recipe that could lead to some breakout success, after-all more consumers splash the cash during the holidays and Windows 10 Mobile is excellent, while the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagship are pretty spiffing too.
