Om prognosen stämmer innebär det en årlig tillväxttakt (CAGR) på 27,6 procent från år 2022. Bara mellan 2022 och 2023 förväntas leveranserna av foldables att öka med drygt 50 procent.

Leveranserna minskade med 18,3 procent jämfört med samma period året innan. Sett till året som helhet sjönk leveranserna med 11,3 procent, vilket ska ha inneburit de lägsta årliga smartphoneleveranserna sedan 2013.

Nedgången är den största försäljningsnedgången någonsin för smartphones under ett enda kvartal och bidrog till en kraftig minskning med 11,3 procent för hela året. Totalt levererades det 1,21 miljarder enheter under 2022, vilket är den lägsta årliga leveransen sedan 2013 på grund av "betydligt dämpad konsumentefterfrågan, inflation och ekonomiska osäkerheter".
Qualcomm förutspår att mobilförsäljningen kommer sjunka med minst 10 procent

Chipptillverkaren trodde tidigare att försäljningen skulle minska med cirka fem procent, men anser nu att fallet blir minst 10 procent. Enligt Qualcomm säljs färre smartphones på grund av en ovisshet som skapats av de rådande makroekonomiska omständigheterna, vilket resulterat i att efterfrågan snabbt minskat.
PC-marknaden krympte rejält under tredje kvartalet

Fortnite-spelare samlade in 144 miljoner dollar till Ukraina

Donationskampanjen pågick mellan 20 mars till 3 april och innebar att alla pengar som spelarna som köpte grejer för i Fortnite skulle gå till donationer till dem som drabbats av kriget i Ukraina. Microsoft donerade även de avgifter som man vanligtvis tar ut när Fortnite-spelare köper grejer till spelet via Xbox.
Hubble observerar mest avlägsna stjärnan någonsin

Stjärnan har fått namnet Earendel och ligger hela 28 miljarder ljusår från oss. Ljuset från Earendel har tagit 12,9 miljarder år att nå oss och stjärnan tros ha en massa som är 50 - 500 gånger större än vår egen sol.
Fairphone uppdaterar en telefon från 2015 till Android 10

Förra sommaren meddelades att Fairphone 2 från 2015 kommer uppdateras till Android 9 Pie. Nu ska den över sex år gamla telefonen även få Android 10.

I tv-serien säger sig två tyska programmerare ha skapat något som man kallar för "Terra Vision" 11 år innan Google släppte Google Earth. Tv-serien handlar om den juridiska tvisten som följer 25 år efter skapandet av Terra Vision såväl som den tyska hacker-scenen i samband med Tysklands återförenande under 90-talet.
Apple dominerar tabletmarknaden
Feber.se - 02 Aug 21 kl. 15:30Nästan en tredjedel av alla tablets som säljs är iPads Analysföretaget IDC har släppt en ny rapport för tabletförsäljningen för årets andra kvartal. Precis som tidigare är det Apple som säljer mest tablets och under förra kvartalet såldes det sammanlagt 12,9 miljoner iPads. Det ger Apple 31,9 procent av tablet-marknaden vilket är ungefär lika mycket som de 32,1 procent man hade under kvartal två 2020.

Vi har nu maskiner som gör småsaker för oss som att göra kaffe ur en kapsel, dosera rätt mängd av tvättmedel beroende på hur mycket tvätt vi lägger i tvättmaskinen och vi har även en automatisk dammsugare och gräsklippare. Vad många dock inte lägger en tanke på är hur den digitala revolutionen gynnat spelmarknaden så mycket så nu förtiden blir vi nästan trötta på att se alla reklamer för onlinekasinon som går varma dagarna i ända.
