It seems as though Apple is having a typical "s" year. When the company launches an iPhone with an s at the end of the title there is usually a levelling out of sales, which in turn usually leads to plenty of doom mongering that Apple has topped out. Så att du snabbt kan få reda på vilken låt som spelas I en kommande uppdatering till nysläppta iOS 14 kommer det bli möjligt för iPhone-användare att snabbt kunna identifiera musik som spelas via iOS kontrollcenter. I betaversionen av iOS 14.2 finns nu en särskild knapp för Shazam vilken kan identifiera vilken musik som spelas på telefonen eller från någon annan ljudkälla.

Gör om mobilen till en handhållen spelkonsol Inom kort släpper Razer speltillbehöret Kishi på marknaden, ett tillbehör som Razer visade upp på CES-mässan i början av året och som gör om mobiltelefoner till handhållna spelkonsoler. Razer släppte en Android-version av Kishi i somras och den föll vår testare André i smaken vilket ni kan läsa mer om i recensionen av Kishi här. Kishi är kompatibel med de flesta spel som finns till Apples speltjänst Apple Arcade och kan antagligen göra spelandet av dessa betydligt mycket mera njutbart än spelens inbyggda touch-kontroller.

Apple verkar experimentera med något sådant Igår presenterade Apple två nya modeller av Apple Watch vilket vi skrev om lite här. I samma veva dök det även upp information om ett nytt Apple-patent som kanske kan göra framtidens smarta klockor från Apple ännu mer användbara. Apples patent "Tactile output for wearable device" beskriver ett system som skulle kunna visa brailleskrift eller annan information med punktskrift på olika Apple-produkter.

Det här är skillnaden mellan iPad, iPad Air och iPad Pro

Vi jämför alla stora iPads Tidigare så har det funnits tre olika stora iPads och skillnaden mellan dem har varit rätt tydlig. I botten har vi en iPad som bara heter iPad och som är klart billigast i gänget. I mitten har vi iPad Air som är lite tunnare, lite lyxigare och lite snabbare än iPad.

Nya Apple Watch Series 6 kommer med U1-chip

Lås upp bilen med klockan Apple är lite hemliga med sitt U1-chip, de stoppar in det i fler och fler saker men pratar inte så mycket om det. iPhone 11 fick chipet förra året men det används helt ärligt inte till speciellt mycket saker i dag. I framtiden kommer det dock att användas mer, bland annat för att låsa upp bilen.

Nya iPads, nya Apple Watch, Apple Fitness+ och Apple One Igår kväll presenterade Apple lite nya grejer och som brukligt nu för tiden skedde detta via ett online-event som sändes från Apple huvudkontor i Cupertino. Det handlade dock inte om nya iPhones då Apple kommer att lansera dessa på ett separat event lite längre fram. Igår visade Apple upp två nya Apple Watch-modeller, den nya Apple Watch Series 6, som är försedd med en funktions som kan läsa av användarens syrenivåer i blodet, samt den lite billigare Apple Watch SE.

Ingen strömadapter med nya Apple Watch

Men med iPad får man fortfarande med den Ett rykte som florerat under sommaren har sagt att kommande iPhone inte kommer att ha någon strömadapter med i lådan. Om detta kommer att vara sant eller inte fick vi inte så mycket mer klokhet om på dagens Apple Event. Apple kommer nämligen att sluta skicka med en strömadapter till Apple Watch, något som känns rätt rimligt men lite tråkigt.

Apple presenterar åttonde generationens iPad

Den billigaste iPaden blir bättre Idag presenterade Apple en uppdaterad version av sin trotjänare iPaden, en tablet som nu har hunnit fram till sin åttonde generation. Den senaste versionen av iPad är precis som sjunde generationen är försedd med en 10,2 tum stor skärm men har fått en uppgraderad processor. Det handlar om Apples A12-chip, samma chipset som fanns i iPad Pro från 2018.

Apple Dominates Enterprise Activations in Q3

Apple is continuing to make significant strides in the enterprise market and through the third quarter of this year (June 1 to September 30) the company was responsible for 66% of all enterprise devices activated. The company’s iOS platform, which includes iPhones and iPads, led the way in the market and rose 2% compared to the 64% enterprise activations in the second quarters. Interestingly Apple made the most headway in the tablet market, with the company’s iPad accounting for 71% of all enterprise slates activated in Q3.

When you look at smartphone sales charts you will see Samsung leading Apple at the top of the market by a significant margin, while the result is even more emphatic if you compare Android sales to those of iOS. When is the iPad Pro launching? The word from retailer Sam’s Club is that the device will start shipping on November 13th, with pre-orders starting right now. However, we have previously heard that the Pro will be landing in Apple Store fronts online and bricks and mortar in November 11th.

Apple Continues to Target Android

Apple continues to sell huge amounts of iPhones, despite missing optimistic analyst prediction the company is thriving and making vastly more money than any other mobile brand. CEO Tim Cook was in good mood after Cupertino’s fiscal fourth quarter earnings call, saying the company is taking the fight to Android and starting to make serious headway in China. Cook claimed that a massive 30% of all iPhone sales in the last quarter came from consumers who were switching to Apple’s iOS from Android.
